Christmas Cataract

Cataracts are among the leading causes of blindness in the United States. Even before cataracts result in complete blindness, they can diminish vision to the point where a person is unable to drive, perform essential tasks at work, or carry out daily activities safely and independently.

While many of us enjoy the gift of sight each day without giving it much thought, countless individuals suffer from lost or diminished vision and are unsure where to turn for help.

This Christmas season, in the spirit of giving and service to our community, Jason K. Darlington, M.D., Board Certified Ophthalmologist & Cataract Specialist at Atlantic Eye Consultants, would like to offer the Gift of Sight to a Brevard County resident suffering from vision loss caused by cataracts, who is uninsured and in need.
